CHS is hosting its annual HOCO week talent show this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in preparation for the big football game on Friday and the well-anticipated dance on Saturday.
Attendees of this incredible event on Tuesday watched sophomore Addy Aguigui perform “Colors of the Wind” from the movie Pochahontas, junior Georgia Hemmer sing “From the Start” by Laufey, and Gracie Rengelli sweep the audience off their feet with “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John. Lastly, “When You Believe” was sung by Mckenna Fritz and Emerson Thomason.
The contestants were scored by four judges: Mrs. Gemeinhart, Mr. Eygabroad, Mr. Wharton, and Mr. Yousey. Addy Aguigui received scores of 8.8, 8.2, 9.1, and 9. Georgia Hemmer got two nines, a 9.4, and a 9.2. Gracie was the first to get a ten, with scores of 8.5, 8.7, 9.9, and, of course, a 10. Lastly, Mckenna and Emerson received a 10, 9.9 ,9,3, and a 9.
