Last day of the CHS talent show
The last day of the CHS talent show blew students away with amazing talents.
Going first, and going strong, Julie Renggli sang “Lost Boy” by Ruth B, and had the crowd amazed.

Alvaro Ferrer-Sierra, Jance Novak, Deangelo Gutierrez, and Jose Rivera showed off their talent by doing a Clash Royale round. This game works by playing a 2v2, 3-minute round of attempting to defeat each other’s towers while also defending their own. They place cards to defend and place cards to attack. Team Alvaro and Jance ended up winning the intense 3-minute round due to Deangelo accidentally placing the wrong cards.

For the third act, we had “The mystery clown.” He engaged the crowd with his performative act. The mystery clown was wearing a clown mask, a beanie, stuffed body muscles, sweats, and sneakers. He showed off his muscles, flexing and striking cool poses, while the song “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga played. There were many cheers and laughs for “The mystery clown.”

Judah Lewis, another solo act, ended up winning the talent show overall, with his amazing piano skills. His performance was riveting. Judah played a song named “Radiance” from the game “Hollow Knight” by Christopher Larkin.

Erin Ireland, Peighton Sadler, Addy Burger, Quinn Pace, Eliana Thomas, Lucy Ray, Jada Wood, and Hadley Westlund performed an interpretive dance choreographed by all of them. They included songs like “1,2 Step” by Ciara, “Diva” by Beyonce, and “Watch Me Whip” by Silento.

Last but not least, the talent show ended with a student favorite. Mr. Finch, Kamren Meloy, Emmet Brown, and Oliver Chalmers came together and made a band, Mr. Finch was the lead singer to the song “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC. Kamren and Emmet played the electric guitar, Oliver was on the bass guitar, and Ashur on the drums. They had the crowd hyped and did an awesome job.
