Football in Cashmere has begun, the stadium is full of people and excitement, while the football team is prepared and ready for any team coming their way. The preparation and participation during the offseason for this year’s team have set them up for success. Coach Bremer says their offseason training “ shows a level of commitment to the program”.
Over the summer, football athletes lived in the weight room, lifting heavy weights and growing together as a team. Coach Bremer states, “ Weightroom success equals team success.” The Bulldogs not only lifted over the summer but in the winter as well, having 6 am lifts and weekly routines, 4 days a week for an hour a day.
The Bulldogs have many goals in mind. Coach Bremer explains that some goals are to “Change some stuff offensively and have answers on gameday.” This will set the Bulldogs up for a season full of achievements and victory in upcoming Friday night games.
After the 60-0 blowout against the Wapato Wolves, the Bulldogs prepare to travel to Benton City to take on the Kiona Benton Bears.
Kickoff is 7-pm.
