Knowledge bowl, a CHS club that specializes in general knowledge trivia, has started its first unofficial practices. Practices take place in Mr. Valeri’s room and consist of a reader asking the rest of the members questions to see if they can answer them, much like a trivia contest. The questions can range from old classics such as A Tale of Two Cities or Gone With the Wind to battles in the civil war to hard and extensive math problems.
Knowledge bowl has competitions throughout winter and will travel to other schools for them as well as staying here for home meets. Knowledge bowl, while not a huge time commitment, could possibly interfere with winter sports, but will not severely conflict with the musical.
Unofficial practices are loosely scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays unless cancelled because of conflicts. Official practices will start after Thanksgiving and will continue to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From theatre smarts to sport recollection, the knowledge bowl team has a place for everyone. If you are interested in joining the CHS knowledge bowl team or want more information, contact one of the members or the club advisor Mr. Valeri.
