On a cold Thursday night the #3 ranked cashmere girls soccer team got ready to face the #6 ranked Nachees Valley girls soccer team. This was expected to be a challenging game for the Bulldogs as last time out they barely clenched the win with a score of 2-1 Senior Quinn pace said “ We are just trying to stay focused and hopefully pull off the win again.
The Bulldogs started strong getting chances to score but nothing connected. Sophomore standout for the Rangers Emmaria Mendoza opened the scoring for the Naches Valley Rangers slotting one past senior goal keeper Ellie Craiglow. Then things went downhill for the Bulldogs as sophomore Emmaria Mendoza went on to score another three goals throughout the game terrorizing the Bulldogs defense. The Bulldogs showed signs of light throughout but the Naches Valley defense held on to the win shutting down everything the Bulldogs threw their way.
