Despite cold conditions, the Bulldogs had a great time running at the SCAC league meet. The competition was at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee on Saturday, the 25th, and was hosted by Cashmere. The Girls’ race was at 2:00 pm, and the boys’ race was at 2:45 pm.
The girls placed fourth out of seven teams, with a score of 79. Notable performances for the girls include Danna Infante (19th, 23:39), Maggie Butcher (8th, 22:06), and Allie Neff (5th, 21:55). The Boys placed third out of eight teams with a score of 91. Notable performances for the boys include Misael Alejo (20th, 19:15), Emmett Brown (19th, 19:10), and Rylan Reiber (8th, 18:34).
This race concludes the season for most of the team, as only the top seven male and top seven female runners from Cashmere will go to the state qualifying meet at Apple Ridge on Saturday, November 1st.
