With Veterans Day coming up, local veterans and their family members are invited to attend our celebration to honor the veterans who put their lives on the line for our freedom and safety. The assembly will be held in Cashmere High School’s Gymnasium on Monday, November 10, at 10:00 A M.
The assembly has been a tradition at Cashmere High School for over 30 years. Students from Cashmere Middle School and High School will all attend, as well as community members.
During the assembly, the CHS choir and band will perform the Armed Forces Tribute to honor all branches of the military. Additionally, there will be a guest speaker who served in the army in 2005, Mrs. Newberry. She will tell her story from a combat medic to a dedicated mother and teacher.
Students should invite aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, parents, nephews, or cousins to the assembly to honor veterans and let them know their work has not gone unnoticed.
