What is your name, grade, sports, clubs, family, pets?
My name is Emerson Thomason, I am in grade 9, I do track and field in the Spring and boxing year-round! I am the Freshman class president! I am in Key Club, FCCLA, (Freshman Representative of-) Equity Club, Secretary of choir, and Drama Club! My brother is Canaan Thomason, who is in grade 10. I have two cats and a dog! My mom is a therapist and a social worker, and my dad works for a technology company. I’m Canadian, all my mom’s side lives in Canada. I have dual-citizenship! Being friendly is my favorite thing, I always strive to lift people’s mood as hard as possible. I believe that optimism is the best way to achieve self-peace.
What are your favorite bands/musicians? Favorite song?
My favorite band is Sublime!!! My favorite song is Scarlet Begonias by Sublime, it is sooooooo good. I also really love Rihanna.
What is a funny fact about you?
A funny fact about me is that I am obsessed with Twilight. I have every book of the series (hardcover) displayed on my shelf, along with all the spin-off books and two copies of the first Twilight. I’ve watched all the movies so many times, and I have the CD soundtrack of every movie also displayed on my shelf!!!
What is your favorite food?
I really love all food! I love pho a lot, it’s sosoososo yummy!!! Also jalapeno chips are the best chips ever. Or ketchup chips since I’m Canadian!
What are you most passionate about and why?
I am very passionate about singing and boxing, as odd as that combo sounds. Singing is one of my favorite things to do, and I’ve been training my singing for years now. But I’m also very, very passionate about boxing. I am planning to start competing soon, and I can’t wait! Right now I am just training, though.
What does your dream life look like?
My dream life would end up with me going to New York University, my dream college. After that, I would like to attend a firefighter academy and then become a firefighter, and maaaaaybe an author on top of that. I would love to live in Toronto or Seattle! But being a firefighter is my overall dream job.
If you could spend a day with any famous person, who would it be and why?
If I could spend a day with any famous person, I’d spend it with Billie Eilish because she seems SO cool and I’ve been to her concerts twice! She is so talented, and I feel like we would have a super duper awesome fantabulous time. OR TANNER FROM LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM! I loooove him, he’s so sososoosososo goated
