The Cashmere girls’ basketball team opens its season Friday night in Connell. The game tips off at 5:30 pm at Connell High School.
This will be Coach Eygabroad’s first game as a CHS Girls’ Basketball coach. The Bulldogs will be led by junior Addison Talley, their lone returning all-league player.
Talley says, “Some personal goals I have are to get double-doubles almost every game, improve my game IQ, and be a threat inside and out of the key.” The Bulldogs are coming off a 15-6 2024 campaign. Assisting Talley will be sophomore Kinsley Miller, junior Gwen Ledesma, senior Ella Kenoyer, and senior Alyssa Soria, returning after a 2-year break. The Bulldogs will look to open their season with a win on Friday at Connell.
Across the court, the Connell Eagles are 2-1 to start the 2025 season. The Eagles are coming off a 53-point loss against the Wapato Wolves on Tuesday. Leading the Connel Eagles is sophomore Marli Curtis. The game will be held at Connell High School on Friday, December 12th, at 7:15 pm.
