The Cashmere Bulldogs boys’ basketball team took a three-hour bus trip down to Benton City, Washington, on Tuesday night to battle the Kiona Benton Bears in an SCAC league matchup.
The Bulldogs started the game red hot, finishing the first quarter with a score of 27-7.
The second quarter was just as good for the Bulldogs as they headed into the locker room ahead 41-14. The Bulldogs came out of the locker room ready to go in the second half, and they didn’t look back.
The Bulldogs finished the game with the final score being 71-35 and tallying another league win for the Bulldogs.
Sophomore Mac Carlson led all scorers with 19 points, and Senior Tobie Larson finished with 18. Junior Colton Stendera and Sophomore Elijah Davidson each finished with 12.
The Bulldogs now shift their focus to another league matchup this Friday. This will be their home opener against the Naches Valley Rangers.
